Roger Bell As I was approaching Bergen I found that it was an RNAV approach which I had not done before, I normally use the ILS, so I became established on the localiser and chose to do a manual approach. I believe that the autopilot was still connected as it needs two presses to disconnect it, I did one. But it seemed difficult to control I attempted several hurried approaches. I shall have to practice more hand flying and follow the flight director. ProAtc was good and it was an enjoyable and exiting flight. Thank for the VA. Roger Bell.
David Woods This is due to the multiple hard landings at -1000 or above please keep practicing your landings and use of manual control
